A sunny Saturday afternoon in Weybridge in February 2013, was the background scene for an introduction workshop Mindfulness Meditation. Over 20 ladies gathered together after lunch to experience ‘Meditation with a Western flavour’. As usual, I offered a range of practices, shorter and longer, to allow different experiences and to discover how different exercises can have a different effect.

In general, stress levels halved and the breathing count per minute slowed down with an average of 35 %.

Some feedback after this workshop:

‘You helped me to acknowledge my stress, rather than ignoring it. I loved the exercise with the third eye and the whole workshop was relaxing, comfortable and very calming. Thank you so much.’

‘I really enjoyed the session. Would love to do it again. Couldn’t believe how my breathing went down and how my stress just disappeared……’

‘Just realised that I CAN calm down! It was great to take some time out. Thank you.’
