Stress prevention and stress management in the workplace

Stress in the workplace is still an actual issue, but thanks to stress management programmes, the numbers of employees affected are declining.

However, it seems that work is for a lot of people the main stress factor in their life. Research figures are just statistics, but they give an indication of the seriousness of the condition.

Last year, in the UK, a reported sick leave due to stress, had an average duration of 30 days! Six weeks!

As with so many other conditions, it is important to avoid hitting that point.

Prevention is key. For individuals, but also for companies. And more and more companies are taking care of their employees by offering stress management support; be it individual or groups.
